“We were participating in the dedication of a tiny new church in a village where we have done outreach for several years. We had just started the Jesus Film for Children when an angry person came with a large piece of wood, hit the metal roof of the church, and began screaming loudly. All of us in the church jumped at the loud bang.

“Outside a crowd began to gather. We all started praying that there wouldn’t be a riot. Several people told me not to go out, but I went out to meet the person and see if I could help calm him down. He shouted some more but eventually left without hurting anyone.

“The next day he came back and apologized to the Christians! Since then, the size of the church has more than doubled and this week there were 17!”

Incident reported by FIM missionaries in Asia.
