The bi-vocational pastors of western Uganda grow coffee to make ends meet. They receive mere pennies for their product while coffee companies make a far greater profit. The pastor’s financial needs are an obstacle to their ability to serve their churches effectively. While Prince & Heidi Sabena (Uganda) was providing spiritual and ministerial training for the pastors, they saw the need and decided to do something about the economy as well. They provided coffee production training to the pastors and the community. The farmers applied what they learned. When the final product was tested, they were astounded that their coffee beans were given a specialty grade! They recently received orders for 21⁄2 tons of their Jenga coffee and another order for four tons next year!
