One Nigerian Christian leader recently wrote about the attacks in the central and southern parts of the country. “ Please pray for God’s quick intervention in the situation. Most people feel that our situation is hopeless as the government is doing close to nothing to bring relief to the persecuted Christians.” Christian villages are frequently attacked. Pastors have been targeted and killed, houses burned, and crops destroyed leaving the remaining people without means to feed their families and villages. Thousands have fled to Displaced Persons Camps, separated from their homes and loved ones. Please pray for relief for Christians in Nigeria who are persecuted for their faith in Jesus. Pray for the salvation of Fulani and Boko Haram members. Pray that the Nigerian government would put an end to these attacks and punish those who are killing their fellow countrymen and destroying property.
