Dr. Paul Barreca was able to visit Frank & Emily Tijsterman in Sisak, Croatia! They serve alongside Pastor Milosh at Bethel Baptist Church. Emily launched a children’s ministry, teaches the ladies Bible study, disciples women, and helps extensively at the Baptist church camp in partnership with another nearby Baptist church. Frank helps Emily with the youth and shares the preaching with Pastor Milosh. He is seeking additional theological and ministry training at the same time. The churches in Croatia are small, few, and far between. After decades under Communism, war, and a serious earthquake, there are many difficulties. The church is committed to prayer and asking God for a revival in this country. Matthew 16:13-20 shows Peter’s confession and Christ’s promise that He WILL build his church! Pray for the struggling church in Croatia!
