FIM is seeking a full-time Director of Mobilization to identify, nurture, and onboard missionaries. Join FIM’s vision to raise up spiritually mature, reproducing disciples of Jesus among the nations.

The Director of Mobilization will join an experienced administrative team of missionary leaders to raise up new missionaries who will carry the gospel worldwide. FIM prioritizes gospel proclamation by assisting missionaries in fulfilling God’s call. FIM’s operational paradigm is attractive to missionaries who require flexibility in ministry. FIM’s personalized mobilization process, pre-field training, and on-field missionary care encourage missionary candidates to thrive as they prepare for their ministry and on the mission field.

  • A mature believer with a strong walk with the Lord.
  • Has a heart for missionaries.
  • Practices a compassionate, gracious, and caring demeanor.
  • Maintains a cooperative, loyal, and teachable spirit.
  • Is an active member of a doctrinally sound local church.
  • Enthusiastic agreement with the FIM Statement of Faith.

Education and Experience

  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Bible or theology. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, most notably Microsoft Office, mail merge functionality, and e-mail systems, including Outlook and Gmail.
  • No less than five years in missions, Christian education, or a local church.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and convey ministry opportunities to interested individuals, focusing on students involved in various levels of educational pursuit.
  • Travel to selected educational venues to expose students to the ministry of FIM and oversee others who assist with that endeavor.
  • Coordinate the mobilization activities and responsibilities of all FIM employees.
  • Receive and respond to all pre-applications for missionary service with FIM through automated pre-application inquiries or personal communication from the applicant.
  • Maintain contact with such interested individuals and guide them through the FIM application process, securing necessary information and documents and the acceptance or rejection of completed applications to the Leadership Team.
  • Plan and lead FIM’s Candidate Orientation Program and remote Candidate Orientation Training with the assistance of the Leadership Team.
  • Oversee, maintain, and expand FIM’s mobilization CRM and other stored mobilization data.
  • Oversee FIM’s program for Short-term and Mid-term ministries and missionary internships.
  • Maintain and expand FIM’s mobilization literature.
  • Maintain appropriate displays and presentation materials for conferences.

Salary

The Director of Mobilization is a missionary position. Salary is derived from support raising.
