God is using the 20+ Christian schools in Togo, West Africa! In addition to the academics, Koffi & Christine Etsrou (Togo) encourage the teachers to prioritize the gospel and discipleship. For seven years, the teachers from one school have been helping with two-day Vacation Bible Schools (VBS) in other towns. This year, they helped a church three hours away, which meant overnights in the village. On the first day, the children were hesitant. But on the second day, 400 village children came. The 23 teachers shared the gospel through crafts,  games, Bible stories, and small groups. The children were open and asked questions to understand God’s Word better. The pastor explained that there had never been a free event for children in that town. The whole community was happy that the church organized something for the children. Koffi and Christy pray that gospel seeds would fall in good soil. Some parents came to register their children in the Christian school the following week! In addition, the Etsrous are excited to see former students helping churches with VBS even while they study at university! God is causing gospel seeds to produce fruit!
