He studied, prepared, and practiced a children’s Bible lesson for a Vacation Bible School. As the Bible time started, there was the usual “gaggle” of children. A young mother also sat near the back. As the lesson progressed, Skip & Rosie Kite (USA) added ideas, teachings, and principles of the gospel that he had not planned to be part of the lesson. Skip wrote, “The information was ‘floating around in my brain somewhere but it was not supposed to be used that night.” When the invitation was given, not one child responded to the gospel. But the young mother prayed to receive Jesus as her Savior! Skip says, “I can’t help but believe that the Lord changed my teaching just enough so that this woman would hear exactly what she needed to be saved and become a child of God!”
