New neighbors mean new opportunities! Right away the neighbor’s children began attending the church of John & Marilyn Asmah (Ghana). Their son was in Marilyn’s class, and she led him to trust in Christ. When he saw the other kids bringing their “Quiet Times” to church for Marilyn to check, he was very curious and asked for one of his own. When the Asmah’s spoke with the father a week later, they asked how his son was doing. He replied that his son wakes up every morning for class at 4:30. Why so early? To make sure that he completes his “Quiet Time!” The dad didn’t know what it all meant until the son explained.
