Mauricio & Rachel Prunera are a French-Hispanic family planting a church in Saint-Lô, France. They transferred their son, Esteban, to a private middle school, hoping that he would have more opportunities to express his faith. Esteban noticed that the Spanish teacher was from Venezuela. He told her that he is a believer in Christ and that he is attending his father’s evangelical church. She was interested. He continued, it “would be nice if you come to visit our church some Sunday.” She replied, “I’m coming next Sunday with my two children.” And she did! The Pruneras invited her for a meal at their home. She has attended other services, is very happy to have discovered what an evangelical church is, is excited that her children are enjoying church and are discovering Jesus. She said, “I thank God that Esteban had the boldness to invite me to church. I’m so happy to have discovered the Chemin Nouveau (New Way) Church. It really is a Way that I want to follow!”
