The girl’s mother was sick. Her older sister returned from boarding school. Knowing something was wrong, John & Marilyn Asmah (Ghana) visited the mother. She was diabetic, an amputee, and had an infected wound that wouldn’t heal. But she couldn’t afford to go to the doctor. Marilyn took her the next day.

The Asmahs helped her change her diet and Marilyn regularly went to change the bandages. During the visits, Marilyn shared the gospel with the family. Before the older daughter returned to boarding school, she trusted Christ as her Savior as well as the mother! The family was grateful, and the wound has fully healed!
