“Today, Feb. 16, marks 42 years since I trusted Christ as my savior (1975). Other than some Bible stories, I was basically biblically illiterate.

Today, on my way to the seminary for my Libros Históricos class, I was able to share the gospel with Don Santiago. He knew that Christ died on the cross for our sins, but he didn’t know WHY he had to die. We started in Genesis 3, and I walked him through the blood sacrifices and the theme coursing through the pages of Scripture: “Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission.” I point him to Christ, the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world, as his sin bearer. May God complete that work of redemption in him.
